When Does Billing Start?

Billing starts when your campaign goes live. Not when you sign up.

The Timeline

  • You sign up — No charge yet
  • Warmup begins — No charge during this phase
  • Inboxes hit 85%+ reputation (~Day 22–28)
  • Campaign activatesBilling starts
  • Your subscription is activated the moment your first email sends.

    Why We Do It This Way

    We only charge you for active service. Warmup is infrastructure setup — we're investing in your campaign's success. It wouldn't be fair to charge a full month for two weeks of warmup.

    This also means your first billing cycle gives you a full month of active outbound, not a month split between warmup and sending.

    How to See Your Billing Start Date

    Go to Billing in your portal. Your subscription details show the billing start date and next invoice date.

    Pausing Your Campaign

    If you need to pause, contact your CSM. We can pause billing for up to 30 days for qualifying situations (e.g., company reorg, ICP pivot). Pauses beyond 30 days require restarting the warmup process.
