Rescheduling a Meeting
Reschedule requests happen frequently. Here's how to handle them cleanly.
If the Prospect Requests a Reschedule
Cal.com booking confirmations include a reschedule link. Prospects can use it directly to pick a new time without going through you.
The meeting record in your portal updates automatically with the new scheduled time.
If You Need to Reschedule
Reply to the booking confirmation email, which includes the prospect's contact info. Alternatively, ask your CSM to coordinate via Jordan.
What Happens to the Meeting Record
When a meeting is rescheduled (not cancelled), the existing record is updated with the new time. No charge is triggered until the new meeting time passes plus 2 hours.
Important: Reschedule vs Cancel
If you need to use Cal.com directly, choose Reschedule not Cancel. Cancellation deletes the meeting record and removes it from your pipeline.
