Rescheduling a Meeting
Reschedule requests happen — here's how to handle them cleanly.
If the Prospect Requests a Reschedule
Cal.com booking confirmations include a reschedule link. Prospects can use it directly to pick a new time without going through you.
The meeting record in your portal updates automatically with the new scheduled time.
If You Need to Reschedule
Reply to the booking confirmation email — it includes the prospect's contact info. Alternatively, ask your CSM to coordinate via Jordan.
What Happens to the Meeting Record
When a meeting is rescheduled (not cancelled), the existing record is updated with the new time. No charge is triggered until the new meeting time passes + 2 hours.
Important: Reschedule vs Cancel
If you need to use Cal.com directly, choose Reschedule not Cancel. Cancellation deletes the meeting record and removes it from your pipeline.
